Day 1
Welcome to Zanzibar
Today kicks off an exciting once in a lifetime adventure in Tanzania. You will be welcomed to Zanzibar with a complimentary dinner on arrival day, during dinner you will get the opportunity to meet other travelers and receive your personalized Gojolley gift bag.
After dinner, you will settle in for the night, rest, recharge and get ready for the adventures ahead of you starting tomorrow!

Day 2
Spice farm tour and Traditional Cooking Class
No better way to learn about a people’s culture than through their food. Today you will embark on a spice farm tour and join a traditional cooking class where you will learn how to prepare traditional Swahili dishes using locally sourced ingredients.
Under the guidance of your chef you will learn to to prepare a hearty meal using some of these spices, then sit down to enjoy your tasty creations.

Day 3
Historical Tour of Stone Town
Delve more into the rich history of Zanzibar on this historical tour of Stone Town and Prison Island. Familiarize yourself with the culture and see firsthand the influences of the Arabs, Persian, Europeans on this Island.
Your time in Prison Island will provide some insight on the role Zanzibar played in the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade. A day filled with history and insightful discoveries.

Day 4
Island Day & Swimming with Turtles
Day four in Zanzibar is off to an exciting start. Today you get to swim with dolphins on Mnemba Island, explore a natural turtle aquarium, where you will feed and swim with the turtles.
End the day on the beach for some much needed relaxation and beach activities. Today is all about experiencing the water like never before.

Day 5
More Zanzibar adventures
Today you will visit one of Zanzibar’s best kept secrets – Kuza Cave in Jambiani – an ancient limestone jungle cave with crystal clear turquoise fresh water.
You can snorkel, swim in the freshwater, and learn more about Swahili culture. After your time at Kuza cave, visit Mtende Beach and spend the rest of the day relaxing by the beach before heading back to your hotel.

Day 6
Leisure Day & Farewell Sunset Dhow Cruise
Today is your last full day in Zanzibar and you should make the most of it. Spend most of the day leisurely! You can lounge by the pool, explore the beach or town on your own.
Later that evening, the group will reunite for an idyllic sunset cruise on a Traditional Dhow Boat. A beautiful end to what has been a beautiful time in Zanzibar.

Day 7
Goodbye Zanzibar. It’s a wrap!
After an incredible 7 days, it is finally time to bid Zanzibar and Tanzania goodbye. A lot of memories and friendships have been made.

The airport to fly into is Zanzibar Abeid Amani Karume International Airport, (ZNZ/HTZA).
Not to worry, we are here to help sort this out for you, so if you need any help finding a flight ticket or have any questions, we will support you throughout the journey.
Note: Depending on where you are traveling from, you might need to fly into the airport in Dar es Salaam before heading to Zanzibar.
