The Itinerary

  • Day 1

    Welcome to Lima, Peru

    Kick start your adventures with a warm, hearty welcome to Peru’s capital city of Lima. You will be picked up from the airport and handed over your gift bag from Gojolley. We check you in to your room and then prepare for a complimentary welcome dinner at 7 pm.

    At dinner, you'll have the opportunity to meet all the awesome people on the trip, connect and talk more about the days to come in Peru.

    After dinner, head back to your hotel room to relax and get ready for our Peru adventures.

  • Day 2

    Lima City Tour

    Discover the best of Peru in this historic tour of Lima’s famous landmarks.

    Feel like a real ‘Limeño’ (a Lima local) as you explore the town’s colonial and Incan architecture, visit its charming residential neighborhoods, see the scenic cliff-strewn coast, and admire its many religious shrines and churches.

    This is the perfect introduction to your Peru experiences.

  • Day 3

    Fly to Cusco and Rest Day

    Today, you leave Lima to Cusco and then spend the rest of the day enjoying some personal time. Spend the rest of the day however you like. The adventures continue tomorrow.

  • Day 4

    A Day of Cusco Adventures

    It’s time to put on your adventure hat as you’ll be touring Cusco markets, ruins, churches, the chocolate museum, Pisco museum and more. This day will give you a real taste (pun not intended) of the magical city of Cusco, Peru.

  • Day 5

    Rainbow Mountain

    Ever wanted to see the famous rainbow mountain you always see in photos? It’s called Vinicunca, by the way. Well, now is your chance as you will be visiting it on this day and checking off yet another amazing adventure in Peru.

    Whether you choose to hike or rent a horse to the top of the summit, the views will still be to die for.

  • Day 6

    Hike the Inca Trail

    Well, this is the ultimate Peruvian activity, isn’t it? Peru is not complete without hiking the Inca trail. This marks the beginning of your journey to Machu Picchu.

    A tour and hike of the Inca trail is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and of course, you won’t be missing out on this trip to Peru. It gets better and better.

  • Day 7

    Adventures in Machu Picchu

    This is probably the day you’ve been waiting to have. It’s the day you get to see one of the most incredible spots in the world - Machu Picchu.

    Spend a day exploring the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. Discover the renowned mountaintop Inca site with a guide, learning about its construction, history, and what daily life was like for its residents.

    This will be a day you won’t forget.

  • Day 8

    Goodbye Peru. And it’s a wrap!

    Head back to Lima early enough to catch your flight back home. After an epic seven days in Peru, it's time to say goodbye. Goodbyes are hard but you’ll leave Peru with memories and experiences to last a lifetime. And of course, some new friends.

    You'll be dropped off at the airport and hugged goodbye. We hope to see you on another adventure with Gojolley in the future.

  • The airport to fly into is the Jorge Chavez International Airport (LIM) in Lima. This is where you will get picked up from and taken to the hotel in Lima. Not to worry, you will be supported through the process of booking the right flight and getting a great deal from your local airport.

  • Yes, you definitely can come with a friend or even a spouse or partner. Gojolley presents the opportunity to travel with a group of people and make new friends while expanding your network. You can come with a friend or come solo and make new friends along the way. It’s up to you.

  • Great question. While COVID continues to remain top of mind for many, travel can still be conducted safely. That said, our travelers safety are a priority and we continue to monitor the travel restrictions and requirements as well as adhere to CDC and health regulations. We will never go on a trip if it poses a health risk for our travelers. If a trip cannot happen, it will be postponed to a future, more suitable date with all your investments intact.
