The Itinerary

  • Day 1

    Welcome to Cartagena

    Kick start your adventures with a warm, hearty welcome to Cartagena, Colombia. Yes, you made it there. You will be picked up from the airport and handed over your gift bag from Gojolley. We check you into your room in a luxury villa and then prepare for a complimentary welcome dinner at 7 pm.

    At dinner, you'll have the opportunity to meet all the awesome people on the trip, connect and talk more about the days to come in Cartagena.

    After dinner, head back to your hotel room to relax and get ready for our Cartagena adventures.

  • Day 2

    Photo tour of Cartagena

    Spend your first full day on a photo tour of the beautiful Cartagena. You will not only find the most instagrammable areas of the walled city, but you will also get to learn about the city, history and people of Colombia.

    Come with your bright smiles, best poses and a heart ready and open to learn and immerse yourself in a new culture. This will be a great way to kick off your Cartagena experiences.

  • Day 3

    Cultural Immersion Day in Cartagena

    Today is for exploring the food and music scene of Cartagena. Kick start the day with an immersive cooking class where you’ll learn how to make traditional Colombian food.

    Later that day, experience a salsa class and get to learn epic Colombian dance styles like the bachata. End the day enjoying Colombia’s nightlife scene.

  • Day 4

    Leisure and Rest Day

    Want to spend the day sleeping in? You can. Fancy taking a stroll around the Old City? Hitting the shops for some handmade goods? Well, you can use this day however you want to.

    Sleep in, read a book, go on a stroll or a combination of everything? The choice is yours.

  • Day 5

    Island Hopping Day

    Now that you’ve gotten a sense of the culture and history of Cartagena, it’s time to enjoy some fun in the sun on this full-day trip to the beautiful Playa Blanca beach on the Baru Island.

    Enjoy the white-sand beaches, and crystal-clear blue waters and spend the day swimming, sunbathing, relaxing and enjoying the tropical scenery that awaits you.

  • Day 6

    Totumo Mud Volcano Adventures

    Totumo Mud Volcano is truly one of a kind and a not-to-be-missed activity in Cartagena, Colombia. Spend the day inside one of the world’s smallest volcanos and enjoy a relaxing soak in the warm mud.

    You’ll get to experience the healing properties of the mineral-infused mud while having fun at the Totumo Volcano. This is an awesome way to end your Cartagena adventures.

  • Day 7

    Goodbye Cartagena.

    After an epic six days in Cartagena, it's time to say goodbye. Goodbyes are hard but you’ll leave Cartagena with memories and experiences to last a lifetime. And of course, some new friends.

    You'll be dropped off at the airport and hugged goodbye. We hope to see you on another adventure with Gojolley in the future.

  • The airport to fly into is the Rafael Nunez International Airport (CTG). This is where you will get picked up from and taken to the hotel in Cartagena. Not to worry, you will be supported through the process of booking the right flight and getting a great deal from your local airport.

  • Yes, you definitely can come with a friend. Gojolley presents the opportunity to travel with a group of people and make new friends while expanding your network. You can come with a friend or come solo and make new friends along the way. It’s up to you.

  • Great question. While COVID continues to remain top of mind for many, travel can still be conducted safely. That said, our travelers safety are a priority and we continue to monitor the travel restrictions and requirements as well as adhere to CDC and health regulations. We will never go on a trip if it poses a health risk for our travelers. If a trip cannot happen, it will be postponed to a future, more suitable date with all your investments intact.
